Since 2004, Initiative Mittelstand has given an innovation award for the ICT sector.
An independent jury of experts and technical industry editors awards the prize to
companies offering innovative products, services, and solutions that offer superior
benefits for medium-sized businesses. The initiative is known for providing trusted
advice to businesses on their choice of IT and telecommunication solutions and
informing them about the potential of new technologies. The innovation award is
endowed with a total of EUR 150,000, and this year\'s awards show is under the
patronage of Professor Andreas Pinkwart, Germany\'s Minister of Innovation.

Using established industry standards such as SyncML and Push IMAP and the new
